REAGAN, DICK CHENEY CALLED MANDELA "TERRORIST"

Let's remember that both Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher called Nelson Mandela a "terrorist" and that Ray Gun vetoed anti-apartheid legislation (it was overridden by the Congress).  Not surprisingly Dick Cheney got into the act and also called the man, who is at least one of the three greatest heroes of our time, an agent of terrorism.  Cheney, who was a member of the House, openly opposed the release of Mandela from prison where, at that time, he had been incarcerated for 23 years.  Cheney, of course, defended apartheid.

Mandela was not taken off the U.S. terrorist watch list until about 5 years later, as I recall.
