Tavis Smiley Battles Sean Hannity Over Government Shutdown
Last night Tavis Smiley and Sean Hannity got into an argument over the government shutdown and the president’s dwindling poll numbers.
While smiley readily admitted that he has been a strong critic of President Obama he, however, maintained that as far as the government shutdown goes the president is right to stick to his guns against the republicans.
Smiley said the GOP despised Obamacare so much that they’re trampling on the constitution over it which was ironic since they’re the ones who, for years, have “lectured us” about the rule of law.
When Hannity asserted that Obama’s approval numbers were in decline because of his handling of the economy and the government shutdown, Smiley argued that the GOP’s are “worse” and said people are fed up with the entire government which they see as dysfunctional. (Watch video below)
