More Americans trust TV judges than the Supreme Court justices. Mistrust of politicians is alive and well in the U.S.
Americans overwhelmingly do not trust their elected and appointed officials, a new survey out Tuesday showed, with many of them saying they'd listen to a TV judge before a real one.

Fifty-one percent of Americans trust the famously blunt Judge Judy.
Only 45% trust President Obama, according to Reader’s Digest’s “100 Most Trusted People in America” study, while other pols fared even worse.
Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin (24%) and House Speaker John Boehner (23%) came in among the least trustworthy of all politicians in the survey.
