COST OF SENATE IMMIGRATION BILL-$22 BILLION!

The Congressional Budget Office has estimated that the cost of implementing the compromise Immigration Reform Amendment, agreed to by the "Gang of Eight will cost $22 billion dollars to implement.  The Amendment, which would be part of the final bill to be passed by the Senate, contains costs for doubling the number of immigration agents on the Mexican border and for completing the 700 mile fence.

What would $22 billion dollars do to repair and build the U.S. infrastructure, better our schools, feed children who go to bed hungry at night, adults who must choose to pay for drugs or go without food, shelters for battered women, enforcement of worker safety and environmental pollution, alternative energy programs, etc.??
