SHORT ESSAY:NO PLACE FOR BLACK TEENS TO LIVE IN US

If black male  teenagers live behind a gated community they can be profiled, not just by the police, but by a wanna be cop like George Zimmerman.  So, even if they are rich, go to private schools their lives can be in danger where they live.  Too, if they live in such a community, their lives cannot be enriched by an urban experience.

But if a teenage lives in an urban area like New York, he may be constantly hassled by the police in accordance with its search and seizure laws.  In other cities, if he doesn't join a gang, his welfare, if not his life can be in jeopardy.  Of course, if he joins a gang for self-protection, his life may be short lived and probably completely destroyed.

If you were Black parents with male teenagers where would you live?  It looks like you'd have no place to go.
