JESUS ARRESTED FOR LOAVES AND FISHES ATTEMPT

NO MIRACLES ALLOWED IN PASADENA, CA

Pasadena-- Jesus Christ appeared yesterday to feed the hungry in Central Park in California's rose bowl city.  The Director of Health Services for the city said, before his appearance, that Pasadena police would enforce the city's ordinance against feeding the poor in public parks.

At 12:00 noon Christ appeared at the North end of the park where clusters of the homeless regularly gather.  In his hand were five small barley loaves and two small fish.  Jesus then directed the people to sit down on the grass.  He looked up to the skies and gave thanks for the food but before he could multiply the loaves and fishes, as he reportedly did in the Gospels, he was handcuffed and led away by uniformed police.

After Jesus' removal from Central Park a  Pasadena police officer who remained there to maintain order  stated, "I don't know who that weirdly attired guy was, but he's not going to break the law in our city."
