In Trumpworld words such as
integrity, honesty, and truth have no meaning; there is no such thing as
shame. Much of what Donald Trump touches
is corrupted such as his phony schools, contractual obligations, failed enterprises
such as Trump Airlines, Trump Vodka, The Bankruptcies, and Trump Casinos.
Now his wife Melania is caught
up in a scandal that involves plagiarizing in her speech to the GOP convention
last night.
To any fair-minded, objective
observer important passages of her presentation were lifted directly from
Michele Obama’s speech to the Democratic convention s 2008.

Barack and I were
raised with so many of the same values: that you work hard for what you want
in life; that your word is your bond and you do what you say you’re going to
do; that you treat people with dignity and respect, even if you don’t know
them, and even if you don’t agree with them. And Barack and I set out to
build lives guided by these values, and pass them on to the next generation.

From a young age,
my parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in
life: that your word is your bond and you do what you say and keep your
promise; that you treat people with respect. They taught and showed me values
and morals in their daily life. That is a lesson that I continue to pass
along to our son, and we need to pass those lessons on to the many generation
to follow.

The question in my mind, in
view of the fact that Melania claims to have written her speech, is she to be
viewed as a victim of Trumpworld or a willing participant who is allowing
herself to be corrupted by her husband and his campaign. The campaign itself is denying plagiarism and
blames the dustup in the media on Hillary Clinton! Melania, herself, has tweeted that the
controversy is hurting her children!
I think I must conclude that
Melania, like much of what Donald Trump touches has been corrupted and is a
dishonest fraud. If Michele Obama had
plagiarized Nancy Reagan in a similar fashion the GOP would have called on
Barak to resign from the campaign in 2008.
