CABLE NEWS BETRAYS THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THE WAY IT TREATS THE MELANIA PLAGIARISM SCANDAL
Michelle Obama, 2008
Barack and I were raised with so many of the same values: that you work hard for what you want in life; that your word is your bond and you do what you say you’re going to do; that you treat people with dignity and respect, even if you don’t know them, and even if you don’t agree with them. And Barack and I set out to build lives guided by these values, and pass them on to the next generation. From a young age, my parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in life: that your word is your bond and you do what you say and keep your promise; that you treat people with respect. They taught and showed me values and morals in their daily life. That is a lesson that I continue to pass along to our son, and we need to pass those lessons on to the many generation to follow.

Both CNN and MSNBC (and obviously FOX News) treat those they interview with respect when they argue that this is not plagiarism. There is a kind of understanding that there are two sides to the argument. The media's fetish for false equivalency pollutes the airwaves and hamper's the viewer's capacity to see the truth.
The immoral clown, Donald Trump, is a media creation in that he too has been treated with respect and not called out for what he really is. He has been allowed to hundreds of millions of dollars worth of free publicity. The cable news channels are a disgrace and have aided and abetted the possible election of an American neo-fascist.
