STAND UP FOR FIRED WALLMART WORKERS HERE

Hi Friend,
We saw again last week that when Americans come together and speak out for change, we can move the arc of history toward justice and make gains that seemed unimaginable just years ago.
But that doesn't mean that companies like Walmart won't try to stop us.
A few days ago, my coworker Dan sent you an update on Walmart's predictable attempt to suppress the voices of Walmart workers by illegally disciplining and firing many of those who went on strike to protest Walmart's unfair labor practices. In a well-coordinated attack, the company fired workers like Marie Roberty from Miami. As a single mother, she worked with the company for over three years to support her seven-year-old daughter.
Walmart fired her for joining her coworkers in standing up for what was right.
Marie is fighting back. Just last week, she and her daughter traveled all the way to Northern California to confront Walmart directors about their attempts to take away our right to speak out.
Walmart would like to ignore her actions and hopes this will all blow over. That's why you and I have to help Marie get the word out: What Walmart is doing is wrong and workers aren't going to take it.
Walmart can't get away with this. Will you help spread the word about how Marie and her coworkers are standing up? If so, share and tweet the message below.
Can you take a look at the image below, and then pass it around bysharing on Facebook and Twitter?
Download your images -- then share this!
Let's send a loud and clear message that Walmart cannot break the law without consequence. We know that real positive change can happen. Walmart can't stand in our way.
In Solidarity,
Silvia
