COPS TO BE TRAINED BY WELL KNOWN ISLAMOPHOBES IN OKLAHOMA
As a pioneer in the nationwide trend to prohibit judges from considering Shariah law in their cases, Oklahoma has earned a reputation among many Muslims as a state that is hostile to them and their faith. Things may get worse before they get better. The state’s Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training has hired two noted Islasmophobes, retired general William G. “Jerry” Boykin and Frank Gaffney, a former U.S. State Department official during the Reagan administration, to train law officers on Nov. 1 at a special training seminar at the State legislature. Boykin has said Islam should not have First Amendment protection, and that interfaith dialogue with Muslims is impossible, while the Southern Poverty Law Center has called Gaffney the anti-Islam movement’s most paranoid propagandist. The seminar is sponsored by the Oklahoma House Counter-terrorism Caucus. Sadly, as I’ve noted in earlier posts, and as Washington Monthly thoroughly reported, this kind of thing happens often.

Shariah and communism coming to New York
New York City is on its way to becoming a bastion of Shariah and communism. At least according to Pamela Geller, executive director of Stop the Islamization of America, who warns that New York City mayoral candidate Bill de Blasio is in cahoots with communists and jihadis, and has started a “Stop Red Bill” campaign, which includes bus ads that will roll around the Big Apple during the last week of the campaign. Geller pointed out that her press conference unveiling the campaign was ignored by t he mainstream media, although New York Magazine did cover Geller’s umbrage. For de Blasio, I guess its “with enemies like these, who needs friends.”
Driver boots Muslim boy from New York bus
Hoping it would help him find his fare card, a 10-year-old Muslim boy from Brooklyn rendered a short, common prayer. He found his card, but the driver, at hearing the Arabic, expelled the boy from the bus and drove off. “He’s a young boy but he’s old enough to know what discrimination is,” said a lawyer for the family, which has filed a lawsuit against the MTA.
