Mr. President, This Thanksgiving Pardon...the Polar Bear 21 Nov 2013 Polar bears are already in deep trouble. Scientists predict that, without help, more than two-thirds of the world's polar bears could be gone by 2050, including all polar bears in Alaska. The last thing these bears need is more global warming that melts away the sea ice they need to survive. That's why, this Thanksgiving season, the Center for Biological Diversity is calling on President Obama to "pardon the polar bear" by taking real action on climate change. That includes rejecting the Keystone XL pipeline. We're headed to the White House November 21-28 to stand with our mascot Frostpaw the Polar Bear and help deliver this crucial message.
