NEITHER POLITICAL PARTIES GIVE A DAMN ABOUT HUNGER

As of last Friday $5 billion was cut from SNAP.  This amounts to a significant cut in food stamps for many families.  But in the upcoming farm bill, there will be more cuts in food stamps.   The Democratic alternative to the House farm bill which is draconian is a Senate farm bill that cuts “only” $4 billion from the SNAP program, while continuing any number of bloated agricultural subsidy programs.
