TIME TO STOP KISSING THE ASSES OF JEEBUS LOVERS

TIME TO STOP KISSING THE ASSES OF JEEBUS LOVERS

A measure to outlaw employment discrimination based on gender and sexual orientation looks like it will pass the Senate.  The Employment Nondiscrimination Act however contains a measure that provides a religious exemption to its provisions.  As the NYT's points out, "It is a terribly broad exemption.  It would extend beyond churches and other houses of worship to any religiously affiliated institution, like hospitals and universities, and would allow those institutions to discriminate against people in jobs with no religious function, like billing clerks, cafeteria workers and medical personnel."

I suppose the religious exemption had to be included to appease those Senators and their voters whose Lord Jeebus tells them to harm, humiliate and not employ those who, by their lights. are "immoral."  When Jesus spoke of a "generation of vipers" I'm sure He had in mind these "Christians" who actually have no idea of what Christianity is.
