FIGHT THE CHRISTIAN RIGHT HERE

Dear Faithful America member,
I don't know about you, but I don't want to spend another year apologizing to my friends and family for all the hateful things said and done in Jesus' name.
In 2014, Christian faith ought to look a lot more like Pope Francis, and a lot less like Duck Dynasty.
The good news is that everyday Christians are ready to stand up and reclaim our faith from the right-wing extremists who've abused and exploited it for their own purposes. Despite operating on a shoestring budget, Faithful America's membership is larger than ever, and our campaigns have made headlines in media outlets across the country.
But to be honest, our team is too small to keep pace with our growing membership, and we're turning down too many urgent campaign opportunities because we're spread too thin.
With just hours left in 2013, I need to know whether we can hire the additional organizers we desperately need to take on the religious right. Can you chip in with a year-end donation?
Make a year-end donation to Faithful America.
Faithful America's campaigns consistently make headlines, challenging right-wing extremism and showing how Christian faith can be a force for social justice and serve the common good.
Next year, we're going to continue to:
  • Make sure right-wing extremists don't get to speak for Christianity in the media. Whether it's Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson or the Family Research Council's Tony Perkins, we're going to challenge media outlets when they present hateful bigotry as the Christian point of view.

  • Hold politicians accountable for exploiting Christian faith for unchristian purposes. Having spent this year waging an ungodly attack on the poor, conservative politicians are going to spend next year wrapping themselves up in Jesus and the Bible to get re-elected. We can't let them gets away with it.

  • Support Christian leaders who work courageously for social justice. There are unsung heroes across America who are showing what it means to truly follow Jesus by putting their lives and careers on the line to challenge injustice -- and they need our support.
We're running all of these campaigns with a tiny staff and a shoestring budget. And we need your support to continue.

Thanks!
