THOUGHTS ON HOW DOES PERPETUAL WAR EVER END?

Bill Hessell shared your blog post on Google+ Scahill's article on the perpetual war on terror does raise a concern that should be on all American' minds:  it does seem that our government is gearing up for a war on terror that will never end.  Active terrorists groups that have our activities in their countries are spreading from the Middle East to Africa, our drone warfare is producing more terrorists than it could ever eliminate, we are finding it impossible to extricate ourselves from the breeding grounds of terrorism in the Middle East, and the extensiveness of our surveillance programs suggest that they are planned to be a continuing part of our national existence.  There is clearly no exit plan, no end in sight.  Get used to living with the perfect storm created by the three pillars triggering terrorism-- a massive imbalance of power, those with the power resisting change to lessen injustice, inequity, and imbalance, and those without power having the means to inflict damage on the power structure. HOW DOES THIS PERPETUAL WAR ON TERROR EVER END?
