The evidence is becoming over-whelming, through eBay's silence over why their censors have removed items from their auction site that portray progressive images and points of view, while allowing a vast amount of material and images that represent reactionary images, even those that most humans would consider disgusting and degrading. eBay is apparently allowing rampant discrimination on their site. Whatever the cause, profit, bias, or stupidity, it should be unacceptable in our society. A tragic war was fought in our country 150 years ago to end such discrimination. It should not be allowed now, but in some areas and in some elements of our country, it still is. In an era when money, status, and power carry more weight than human values, it is difficult for justice, fairness, and equality to hold their own. eBay, in their actions and in their silence, is complicit in this miscarriage of what our nation should stand for.
