e-Bay Chief Defends Kissing Devil's Behind

E-Bay CEO, John Donahoe today issued a press release explaining why a picture at auction of a women kissing satan's posterior, along with other auctions that had devil worship with sexual content, was allowed on the mega-corporation's auction site.
E-bay came under criticism for censoring progressive artist Michael D'Antuono 's provocative painting, "A Tale of Two Hoodies," up for auction on eBay. The painting shows a hooded young black man with a gun pointed at him. The man with the gun is obviously George Zimmerman.
After that, artist-professor Keith Shirey, who had also been censored by e-Bay in the past, lambasted e-Bay for taking down the anti=Zimmerman auction. Shirey's complaints were posted on his own blog site and were picked up by the press. The blog is:

The long-time political activist said that he found an auction on eBay which portrays the smooches on the devil's behind and "dozens of books, posters, CD's, and artifacts" which had the devil worship with s/m content on many of eBay's auctions.
"I'm not advocating any censorship," he said, "but if they're going to censor an auction which is a plea for social justice for a murdered black man, they sure as hell ought to take down material that extolls evil and totally degrades human beings. d-Bay's inconsistency is absurd."
In response, Donahoe in the press release issued today stated, "Devil Worship is a major world religion along with Christianity, Islam, Zen-Yoga, Fruitarianism and Proper Exercise And Diet. We respect all world religions no matter how offensive their ideas and representations in artwork are to the close-minded."
The eBay communication went on to say that ". . .freedom of expression is a cherished American value that our giant corporation supports as long as it doesn't effect our bottom line."
"We must respect the opinions of our racist, bigoted account holders who are our loyal customers and who have complained bitterly about the anti-Zimmerman artwork" ended the press release.
