Join ANSWER LA this weekend for two important actions against the scourge of murders by police.
On Saturday at 12noon we will gather at the corner of N Mednik Ave & E Cesar Chavez in East LA for Carlos Olivia. Carlos was murdered by L.A. County Sheriffs' Deputy Anthony Forlano on Sept 10, 2013. He was racially profiled, unarmed and commiting no crime, when Forlano shot him 7 times in the back. Carlos is officer Forlano's 7th shooting victim.
On Sunday at 2PM we will gather at the corner of Garfield Ave. & Richfield St. in Paramount for Ignacio Ochoa. Ignacio was murdered by L.A. County Sheriffs deputies May 14, 2013. He was riding his bicycle when confronted by deputies in Paramount and the unarmed, innocent father of three was shot and killed in the street after police say he "reached for their gun." Dec. 22 would have been Ignacio's birthday.
